Summer
Street Capital Partners, LLC
In 1998, Longmeadow Capital co-founded and became the largest private
investor in Summer Street Capital Partners Fund I, L.P., a Small Business
Investment Company. Together with a second fund dedicated to investment in
New York State, Summer Street Capital has total capital commitments of
nearly $100 million. Both funds seek to make mezzanine and/or preferred
equity investments in later-stage, middle market companies with revenue
between $10 million to $50 million. To date, Summer Street has
successfully invested a majority of its capital commitments in ten
companies, four of these companies have since been sold with a return of
approximately 1.8x capital. Until 2004, principals at Longmeadow Capital were involved in
the investment and fund management activities of Summer Street Capital.
